Shri.Subhash.Baburao.Tapse, Assistant Director(Programme), AIR. Sangli, Maharashtra is reaching to superannuation on 31st July,2013. He started his career in AIR as a LDC. But his positive attitude and hard working nature could not stop him to be in the Programme Cadre as Programme Executive (UPSC.Selection) very soon.Being from the rural family, he was aware of the needs of the people from that area. So he could become resourceful public broadcaster during his entire career. He has fond of Drama and Musical Production especially folk style. During his first tenure, he had produced first ever drama serial in Sangli on the success story of Freedom Fighter. He had served for media units in Panaji, Satara, Solapur, Ratnagiri, Sangli and on deputation to Kolhapur. His talent search technique has brought forward hundreds of eminent artists, writers and poets of the day.
Being an administrator he had used practical approach in handling the situation. He had encouraged the staff and promoted their innovative ideas in programmes as well as in overall atmosphere.
The Dress-Code made voluntarily by the AIR.Sangli Staff in the “Golden Jubilee Year Celebration of AIR.Sangli” is the unique feature of his open minded nature. The above photograph in the presence of Shri.D.K.Mishra, DDG(WR), AIR. Mumbai is the witness of unity, he had made in the Media Unit.
