Farm & Home Section of All India Radio, Chennai has launched a 52 week Serial Sponsorship Programme
The village economy and the lives of the vast majority of rural population are witnessing a sharp up-swing, thanks to a slew of welfare measures being undertaken by the Government of India. The various development schemes, in particular have largely benefited people living below poverty line.
on Pradhan Mantri “Jan Dhan Yojana” and Social Security Schemes on 21.10.2015. The half an hour programme portrays reality bytes of the beneficiaries in villages under schemes like Pradhan Mantri “Jan Dhan Yojana”, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sinchai Yojana, Mudra Yojana, SAGY, Soil health card and various new technologies for modern and scientific Agriculture in co-ordination with Chennai Region of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The officials will explain the objectives, scope and nitty – gritty of these schemes. This programme is a compendium of the various latest farm technologies which are very essential for farmers. This programme will be broadcast on every Wednesday at 7.30 pm on Chennai ‘A’ and will be relayed by all other stations of All India Radio in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. I am taking this special culpability for earning of Rs.16,89,510/- (Rupees Sixteen lakhs eighty nine thousand five hundred and ten only) for this 52 week serial sponsorship programme on various developmental schemes. Shri. R. Rajagoipal, Programme Executive of Farm & Home Section of All India Radio, Chennai is producing this programme in an imaginative and newfangland manner and continues the zealous service of uplifting of the rural population through All India Radio.
Due to broadcast of a bouquet of welfare schemes, several villages will attain self sufficiency. Hence there need be no doubt that rural people have begun their march towards a bright future.
This campaign has begun on a positive note and radio still has miles and miles of broadcast in its pocket to bring about smiles in the faces of our village folks.
