Digital version of Gurbani released by I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar


Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that All India Radio is a most reliable medium of communication. Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the new state-of-the-art Auditorium of All India Radio, Rang Bhavan in New Delhi today, the Minister said, the All India Radio has a very wide reach. On this occasion, Digital Version of Gurbani and Shabad Kirtan from Prasar Bharti's archives was also launched. 

Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kau Badal praised All India Radio's live broadcast on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's 550th Birth Anniversary from Sultanpur Lodhi. Union Minister of State for Environment Babul Supriyo also lauded the role of All India Radio. He recalled his association with All India Radio, Kolkata from his childhood days. He sang Kishore Kumar's song " Pyar Bantate Chalo" in dedication to human values of communal harmony.
