Smt. S. Ushalatha, AD(P), AIR Mangalore retires on 31.05.2020

The day of 31st May 2020 will feel empty because of when its busy bee goes on superannuation.  Smt. Usha latha, Asst. Director(P), All India Radio, Mangalore is going to retire on 31.05.2020.  Smt. Usha started her career as Psychology Lecturer, then worked as Principal of Anganawadi workers Training centre at Bhadravati and Shimoga for 7 years.  She joined All India Radio as Programme Executive during 1993.  Smt.  Usha Latha worked in All India Radio Chitradurga, Bhadravathi, Hassan and presently working as Asstt. Director(P), AIR Mangalore from 23.01.2017 holding the charge of Station Director. 
She did MA in Psychology from Mysore University in 1982 and secured first Rank with 2  gold medals including Gopalaswamy Memorial Gold medal of Mysore University.  Attended various National and International workshops organized by Indian Council for Child Welfare and All India Radio.  She was represented India in an International workshop organised at Cologne, Germany as a sole Indian representative of All India Radio. She has received eight times State level Akashvani Annual awards for programme production.  Smt. Usha Latha is a good administrator, very good programmer and having good public relation. 
On this occation yesterday ie. 28.05.2020 afternoon  webinar conference was conducted on State level.  Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyaya, ADG(P), SR I&II AIR & DD wished happy retired life and he said Usha Latha is hard working, dedicated and disciplined employee of the organisation in his welcome address. Seminar started with Gazals sung by  Sri. Govindrajan, ADP, CBS, Bengaluru.  28 Programme staff of all over Karnataka actively participated in this conference and wished peaceful and healthy retired life.  
She is interested in counselling, delivering lectures, writing short stories, articles and columns on personality development, women and children empowerment.
